The support of the our community is important to ensure that National Aboriginal Day continues to be a success.  There are many ways that you or your organization can become a sponsor, partner or volunteer. 

If you would like to become a committee member, volunteer, sponsor and community partner in Thunder Bay's National Aboriginal Day the following opportunities are available:

 

  • Become a committee member and join one of the subcommittees: Logistics, Finance,Communications, Cultural, Powwow, Education, Feast and Volunteer

  • Become a Volunteer

  • Join as a community partner in planned events

  • Sponsorship through financial contribution

  • Sponsorshp of specific events planned

  • Sponsorship of specific components of the event

  • Donation of gift certificates

  • Donation of gifts for guests

  • Donation of giveaway items

 

List of the National Aboriginal Day Committee’s  Sub Committees

 One Lead person will be appointed for each sub Committee and will be responsible for reporting regularly to the Committee.
